Cherine Aboulzelof is a Managing Partner and Co-Head of BGO Strategic Capital Partners, based in London. With nearly 20 years of experience in real estate investing, Cherine leads the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities in Europe and is a member of the SCP Investment Committee.
Prior to joining SCP in 2017, Cherine was a Partner and Head of Europe at 90 North Real Estate Partners where she led the firm’s investments in Europe for three years. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Arcapita, a global private equity firm where she was a Director and Head of Europe and responsible for acquisitions and asset management across a number of assets classes and countries. Prior to that, Cherine spent eight years in investment banking in London and New York at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.
Cherine is an INREV Young Professionals mentor and a member of the GRI Europe Women Leading Real Estate Advisory Board. She is also a board member of the Women in Safe Homes impact Fund (an all – women advisory board). Cherine is also a Non-Executive Director of Urban Logistics REIT Plc.
Cherine holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from E.M. Lyon in France, and received an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

John So is a Managing Director and Co-Head of BGO Strategic Capital Partners, based in Hong Kong. With more than 30 years of experience in real estate investing, John leads the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities in Asia-Pacific and chairs the SCP Investment Committee.
Prior to joining SCP, John was Director of Grosvenor Asia-Pacific and held responsibilities including Managing Director of Investments, Head of China, Head of Fund Management Asia (serving on the Global Fund Management Board), and CEO of the Grosvenor Land Property Fund (a joint venture with Hongkong Land). He was also previously a Director of Jardine Fleming Securities, where he headed the Regional Real Estate Research team and was a top-ranked analyst.
John is a Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, Co-Chair of the UrbanPlan Program in Asia-Pacific and a Founding Committee Member of the Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV).
John received a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University, a Masters in Urban Design (with Distinction) from the University of Hong Kong and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Andrew Jacobs is a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for BGO Strategic Capital Partners, based in New York. With more than 30 years of experience in real estate, Andrew leads SCP’s global investment strategy and is a member of the SCP Investment Committee.
Prior to joining SCP, Andrew served as a Director with Angelo, Gordon & Co. for ten years where he undertook senior level acquisition and asset management responsibilities for a diversified portfolio consisting of 50 properties located throughout the U.S. with a total capitalization of $1.7 billion. While at Angelo Gordon, he focused on the opportunistic and core-plus strategies. Prior to Angelo Gordon, Andrew was a project manager for Hines at their corporate headquarters in Houston. There, he oversaw the development of a 473-room Westin hotel and the disposition of a large portfolio of industrial properties. Before Hines, Andrew worked for Campbell Soup, selling surplus industrial properties and selecting retail locations for Campbell’s subsidiary, Godiva Chocolatier.
Andrew has been an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Finance at Columbia Business School since 2008. He has also been a member of the Urban Land Institute since 1994.
Andrew received a B.A. in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A. in Real Estate Finance from Columbia Business School.

David Lei is a Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Solutions for BGO Strategic Capital Partners based in New York. In addition to sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the U.S., he is responsible for SCP’s separately-managed account business globally and is a member of the SCP Investment Committee.
Prior to joining SCP, David was a member of the U.S. real estate secondary Investment team at Partners Group. In addition to his role on the Investment team, David was also responsible for authoring market research and tracking performance and attribution analytics for Partners Group’s $2 billion real estate secondaries portfolio. David began his career at Credit Suisse Group as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he worked in the Customized Fund Investment Group (CFIG) responsible for real asset private equity investments.
David has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York.
David received a B.S. in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and legal studies and Business Ethics.
Brian McGehee

Brian McGehee is a Managing Director and Head of U.S. for BGO Strategic Capital Partners, based in New York. With 15 years of global investing experience across capital structures in North America and Europe, he leads the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities in the U.S. and is a member of the SCP Investment Committee.
Prior to joining SCP, Brian was a founding investment team member at AlumCreek Holdings LLC, a private equity platform with a focus on special-situation real estate credit investments that was subsequently sold to Clarion Partners. Brian evaluated distressed investment opportunities on a direct basis, coordinated investment restructurings and portfolio management, and engaged in business development efforts. Prior to this role, Brian was an Associate at J.P. Morgan in the Global Real Assets Group and focused on direct real estate equity investments.
Brian received a B.S. in Business Honors and Finance from Villanova University and a PGDip in Global Business from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Doreen Yu is a Managing Director and a member of the BGO Strategic Capital Partners Investment team, based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities as well as managing SCP’s portfolio of investments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining SCP, Doreen was a member of the Asia ex-Japan Investment team at Aetos Capital where she was responsible for evaluating direct real estate investment opportunities and producing investment research.
Doreen received a B.S. in Government and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Radhika Cobb is a Principal and Head of Portfolio Management for BGO Strategic Capital Partners, based in New York. She is responsible for sourcing and evaluating primary investment opportunities in the United States and focuses on the portfolio management of certain separately managed accounts.
Prior to joining SCP, Radhika was a member of the Real Asset Investment team at Hamilton Lane where she was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities on behalf of various pension, endowment, Taft Hartley and corporate plan separate accounts. Radhika began her career as an acquisitions analyst at American Land Fund.
Radhika received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kapish Narda is a Principal and a member of the BGO Strategic Capital Partners Investment team, based in London. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities as well as managing SCP’s portfolio of investments in the Europe region.
Prior to joining SCP, Kapish was a member of BGO’s European Equity team focusing on direct real estate investment opportunities in the UK and Ireland. Before joining BGO, Kapish worked at Fortress Investment Group, focusing on pan-European opportunistic direct real estate equity and debt investments. Kapish began his career in London at Deutsche Bank within the European Real Estate Investment Banking Group focusing on whole loans and CMBS transactions.
Kapish received a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford.

Prior to joining BGO Strategic Capital Partners in 2017, Regent served as an Investment Manager with Link Real Estate Investment Trust for 3 years, where he was responsible for direct real estate investments in mainland China and Hong Kong. Before Link REIT, he also worked in an investment role of a real estate private equity joint-venture between KKR and Sino-Ocean Land.
Regent received a B.A. in Architecture and Masters in Business Administration from Tsinghua University.

Prior to joining BGO Strategic Capital Partners in 2019, Brooks was an Investment Banking Analyst in UBS’ Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure Group.

Oumniya Bouhdoud is a Vice President and a member of the BGO Strategic Capital Partners Investment team, based in London. She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across the Europe region.
Prior to joining SCP, Oumniya was a Senior Associate in the direct Real Estate Private Equity team at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, focusing on acquisitions, asset management, and sales across European markets.
Oumniya is actively engaged in the real estate investment community and serves on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Europe Young Leaders Executive Committee.
She holds a Master's degree in Real Estate and Finance from Université Paris Dauphine – PSL and has completed executive education at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
