105 Victoria Street Celebrates a Major Milestone with Topping-Out Ceremony and Community Event

The 105 Victoria Street project team recently celebrated a major milestone, marking the final phase of progress toward completing this transformative development in the heart of Westminster. The celebration brought together the entire 105VS community, beginning with Skanska’s topping-out ceremony on Level 16 overlooking the London and Westminster skyline. More than 600 site workers and project partners then gathered for the first shared lunch in the village square—a moment that reflected the scale, collaboration, and collective commitment behind the project.

A highlight of the event was the creation of a project time capsule, now placed within the cycle ramp. Filled with engraved materials, design drawings, photographs, mementos and video clips, the capsule captures the spirit of 105 Victoria Street and the ambition driving its vision for a more sustainable future. Rise 3x3 energized the newly completed multipurpose space with a basketball game for Westminster City School, engaging the project team and adding vibrancy to the day. More than a milestone, the celebration underscored the shared purpose propelling 105VS forward: collaboration, community impact, sustainability, and setting a new benchmark for workplace design in Westminster.
