BGO has partnered with Northtree Investment Management to establish a £100m+ urban logistics portfolio in the UK. This joint venture is part of BGO’s Strategic Capital Partners platform, which focuses on secondary investments and co-investment opportunities. The partnership is launching with an initial portfolio of seven last-mile logistics assets, with further acquisitions planned. Deals have already been secured for additional sites in Basingstoke and Skelmersdale, reinforcing the strategy’s goal of aggregating smaller urban infill locations.
This initiative underscores BGO’s commitment to last-mile logistics, leveraging its expertise to capitalize on fragmented market opportunities. The partnership allows BGO to expand Northtree’s portfolio while providing innovative capital solutions for growth. Notably, recent acquisitions include a 76,000 sq ft unit in Skelmersdale and a 32,300 sq ft facility in Basingstoke, both offering strong rental potential. With Northtree’s deep market knowledge and BGO’s global investment experience, the collaboration is well-positioned to deliver high-quality logistics assets while addressing rising demand in the sector.
