BGO has completed a landmark acquisition in Cambridge, Ontario, purchasing The Camby, a 284-suite multifamily complex for $147 million—the city’s largest rental sale in years. Located at 140 and 150 Hollywood Court, the two eight-storey towers were completed in 2023 and 2024, offering a modern mix of quality design, connectivity, and lifestyle amenities to meet the needs of the growing Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge corridor. Cushman & Wakefield acted as the vendor’s advisor, and McCarthy Tétrault provided legal counsel.
BGO Living will oversee management of the complex, which features a three-storey amenities pavilion with a fitness centre, entertainment lounge, coworking spaces, and a rooftop terrace. The property also integrates sustainable features such as hybrid heat pumps, motion-censored lighting, and enhanced energy monitoring. The Camby’s prime location near Highway 401 and public transit access further underscores its appeal as a premium residential offering.
