RENX: BGO acquires $143M GTA crossdock distribution centre

BGO has acquired a 640,000 sq ft cross-dock distribution centre at 11400 Steeles Ave. E., in the Greater Toronto Area, for $143 million. The fully leased facility is occupied by Relay Logistics and Speedy Transport and boasts strong logistical advantages such as highway frontage, proximity to rail hubs and Toronto Pearson Airport, 36 ft clear height, 110 dock doors, and extensive trailer and vehicle parking.

This acquisition aligns with BGO’s strategy of growing its Canadian industrial real estate portfolio—already covering ~32 million sq ft—and targeting modern, high-spec assets close to transportation nodes and labour markets. While the Ontario industrial market is facing some softness, BGO remains confident in long-term demand driven by e-commerce growth and population trends.
