Urbanize: BGO completes amenity center at 200 West Madison

BGO has unveiled an $8 million amenity center at its LEED® Gold-certified office building, 200 West Madison in Chicago. Designed by Gensler, the facility features a fireplace lounge, co-working areas, a fitness center, and a game room with a golf simulator. Managed by The Experience Group, the center hosts monthly events to enhance tenant engagement. This addition has spurred 189,000 square feet of leasing activity over 16 months, including new leases and renewals with firms like Wallace Miller and The Hartford Insurance.

Rob Naso, Managing Partner at BGO, emphasized the evolving landlord-tenant relationship, highlighting the importance of activating amenity spaces to boost productivity and wellness. The building also introduced two Move-In Ready Office (MIRO) suites, both leased within a month, underscoring the demand for well-designed, amenity-rich spaces. Currently, 133,000 square feet remain available, catering to tenants seeking quality office environments.
