BGO Properties strengthens national commercial platform with key leadership appointments to power growth

Toronto, ON – September 10, 2025 – BGO Properties, the Canadian property management, operations, leasing, and services division of BGO, today announced the appointment of three senior leaders who will play pivotal roles in reinforcing the firm’s leadership capabilities and driving continued growth across Canada.

The new additions to BGO Properties’ leadership team include:

• Marlene Farias, National Vice President, Sustainability & Technical Services
  Marlene brings more than 20 years of senior operations, property management, and sustainability expertise from leadership roles at Triovest and JLL. She will oversee BGO Properties’ Operational Excellence, Sustainability, and Technical Services groups nationwide, while also serving as a key third-party client liaison.
• Stephen Smith, Principal, Commercial Property Management & Leasing – BC Region
  With over 25 years of real estate leadership experience spanning Oxford Properties, Manulife, and Wesgroup Properties, Stephen will focus on strengthening BGO Properties’ commercial property management and leasing presence in British Columbia, with a strong mandate to accelerate business growth in the region.
• Jeff Wilson, Vice President, Property Management, Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
  Jeff brings more than 20 years of property management and operations experience, most recently leading retail operations at Westdell Development Corporation. He will oversee BGO Properties’ Ontario management portfolio, including a number of key third party assets.

Together, these leaders expand BGO Properties’ depth of expertise across key markets and disciplines, positioning the firm to deliver for its clients.
