Things are Shaking up at The Tenor! Shake Shack confirms The Tenor, managed by BGO Properties, as the home for its first Canadian restaurant
Toronto (May 2, 2024) - After much anticipation, BGO Properties is excited to share that Shake Shack will open its first Canadian location at The Tenor, located at the intersection of Yonge and Dundas Streets in downtown Toronto. Shake Shack will bring its signature ShackBurgers, crinkle-cut fries, and shakes, along with some Canadian exclusive menu options to The Tenor, a multi-level retail and entertainment complex located at Canada’s most coveted corner. Shake Shack is expected to be open early this summer.
To announce their arrival, Shake Shack has partnered with local Toronto artist, Briony Douglas, who has created an art installation to launch the brand in Toronto and bring a burst of creativity to the heart of the city. The art installation can be viewed now at The Tenor, on the Northeast corner of Yonge and Dundas.
Shake Shack joins an impressive roster of merchants soon to open at The Tenor, solidifying its position as a one-stop shop for dining and entertainment in the heart of the city. Hard Rock Café will return to Toronto with a 9,925 sq ft. location, and The Ballroom Bowl, a beloved Toronto bowling hotspot will ensure “the good times roll” at The Tenor when it opens its newest location later this fall.
Shake Shack, Hard Rock Café, and The Ballroom Bowl join existing tenants CineplexVIP Cinemas, Spring Sushi, Jack Astor’s, and Little Canada to offer unparalleled dining and entertainment options for families, friends, and colleagues all in one place.
