Data Centre Dynamics: CoreWeave to deploy Nvidia GB200 NVL72 cluster at Bulk Infrastructure data center in Norway
CoreWeave has partnered with Bulk Infrastructure to deploy an Nvidia GB200 NVL72 cluster at Bulk's N01 data center campus in Vennesla, Norway. This deployment, expected to be operational by summer 2025, is described as one of the largest Nvidia AI deployments in Europe. The cluster will feature the Nvidia GB200 NVL72 configuration, interconnected by Nvidia Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking.
Bulk's N01 campus utilizes 100 percent renewable energy from multiple hydropower stations and has 400MW of secured power, with potential expansion up to 1GW. CoreWeave's Chief Business Officer, Mike Mattacola, highlighted Bulk's commitment to sustainability and scalable infrastructure as key factors in their partnership. Bulk's CEO, Jon Gravråk, noted that this collaboration demonstrates their capability to meet the stringent demands of AI workloads, aligning with their mission to provide sustainable and scalable digital infrastructure solutions.
